Deputies with Harris County PCT 4 arrested a parolee from Houston after he attempted to flee from a traffic stop in his vehicle and on foot.
According to PCT 4, on October 28, 2017, a deputy with
Constable Mark Herman’s Office attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 2600 block of FM 1960. The driver, later identified as Serrell Mouton (22, Houston), refused to stop and fled from deputies in the vehicle - and then on foot - before being apprehended.
Mouton was found to be on parole for a previous drug charge and had an open felony warrant for violating his parole. Deputies located several small baggies of Marijuana inside of his vehicle, which were packaged in a manner for selling and distribution.
“Serrell Mouton was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail and charged with Evading in a Motor Vehicle. His bond is set at $5,000.00 out of the 184th District Court.” – Constable Mark Herman
