According to reports from MCSO, on October 8, 2018, at about 8:50 pm, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Imperial Chase Apartment complex located at 25510 Brookhaven in Spring in reference to an assault with a knife.

When Deputies arrived, they met with the victim a, 28-year-old Hispanic female. She advised Deputies she had been cut with a knife while out running. Deputies learned from the victim that she was jogging on Oakhurst Drive close to the apartment complex when a small passenger car stopped with its high beam lights pointed toward her. According to the victim, the driver got out and tried to pull her into his vehicle. The victim fought the male back, at which time he cut her with a knife on her left arm.
