According to reports from PCT 4, on May 29, 2019, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office was patrolling in the 22300 block of Kuykendahl Road when he was flagged down by Home Depot employees in reference to a robbery in progress. The employee provided a description of the suspects and the vehicle they fled in.
The Constable Deputy quickly located the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop when a female passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot. After a brief chase, she was apprehended and identified as Khaundrica Williams. The driver, Christopher Williams, and an additional passenger, Michael Jones, were detained at the scene.
The investigation revealed that Khaundrica Williams and Michael Jones entered the business and attempted to leave the store with $2,076.00 in power tools with no intent to purchase them. While attempting to exit the business they assaulted an employee causing minor injury and fled to the awaiting vehicle.
The stolen merchandise was located inside the vehicle and returned to The Home Depot.
Further investigation revealed that Khaundrica and Christopher Williams had several open warrants for their arrest, including Robbery and Felony Theft.
"All three suspects were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Robbery and Khaundrica Williams received an additional Evading charge. Her total bond was set at $20,500.00, Michael Jones' bond was set at $20,000.00 and Christopher Williams received No Bond out of the 339th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
