PCT 4 Constable Deputies are still investigating where two pickup tailgates came from that were located at a theft suspect's home.
According to reports from PCT 4, on June 12, 2019, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the MC Food Store located in the 9700 block of Mills Road in reference to a theft.
During the course of the investigation, Constable Deputies were able to obtain video surveillance that captured an unknown male suspect steal a tailgate from the location and flee the scene.
Then, on June 14, deputies located the suspect vehicle with the stolen tailgate and conducted a traffic stop. The driver was identified as Donne Alan Feit, who was also found to be in possession of .14 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine. He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Theft.
Upon Donne Alan Feit bonding out of the Harris County Jail, victims began to report tailgate thefts.
Today, July 9, 2019, a felony warrant was executed at his residence and he was found to be in possession of stolen Ford Tailgates. He was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Felony Theft. He received No Bond out of the 178th District Court.
