The countdown is on at Lone Star College-North Harris and at its newest center, Lone Star College-East Aldine Center, with the first day of class, Monday, Aug. 26.

To add to the first day of school fun, students who register for fall and pay by Saturday, Aug. 17 will be automatically entered into a raffle for a new computer.

All students who are not dropped for payment after 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17 will remain in the raffle. To avoid being dropped, pay in full by Saturday, Aug. 17 at 10 p.m., enroll in a payment plan, or complete a financial aid package.

The prize drawing will be held on Monday, Aug. 19.

LSC-North Harris and LSC-East Aldine Center classes are scheduled to fit a variety of schedules and range of academic goals. Classes are offered in face-to-face, online and hybrid formats. Degree options include certificates, associate degrees and university transfer. There are also continuing education and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) classes available.
