A human trafficking victim is now safe and two suspects have been arrested after Constables received an anonymous tip that led investigators to a local hotel.
According to reports from PCT 4, on November 8, 2019, Constable Mark Herman's Criminal Investigations Division received an anonymous tip regarding a possible Human Trafficking victim located at the Frontier Inn motel in the 16400 block of the North Freeway.
Constable Investigators immediately began searching for the victim and the alleged trafficker and after an extensive search, both subjects were located at the motel along with an additional male, Brymon Porter, who was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and had an outstanding Parole Violation.
The female victim was interviewed and then transported by EMS to a local hospital for precautionary treatment and injuries sustained from a recent assault.
During the course of the interview, it was determined that the alleged trafficker, Alex Goodman, forced her into prostitution and forced her to give him the money she received.
Alex Goodman and Brymon Porter were arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. Alex Goodman was charged with Promotion of Prostitution. His bond was set at $3,000.00. Brymon Porter was booked in for the Parole Violation and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. He received a No Bond. Both bonds were set out of the 248th District Court.
