Two KISD Employees Honored At State Level
Two excellent Klein ISD Transportation employees are being honored for their hard work, dedication, and how they continuously give back to our students.
Delia Guzman and Renee Orr have both been respectively recognized by the 2020-2021 Texas Association for Pupil Transportation (TAPT) Awards Committee as recipients of the TAPT Special Needs Driver of the Year Award, and the TAPT Special Needs Attendant of the Year Award.
Q’Straint/Sure-Lok sponsors these awards.
The TAPT Special Needs Driver of the Year Award focuses on an individual who drives or subs on a route to transport students with special needs to school and home each day.
The TAPT Special Needs Attendant of the Year Award focuses on an individual whose role is to assist the driver on a route that transports students with special needs.
“Delia Guzman and Renee Orr are great examples of the type of employees and human beings that put their heart into their work,” said Robert Robertson, Associate Superintendent of Facility & School Services.
“We could not be prouder of this recognition for them.”
Both Guzman and Orr will be celebrated at the TAPT 2021 Awards Banquet in The Woodlands, Texas, on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Each recipient will receive their prestigious award and a $100 gift certificate.
Congratulations, Delia and Renee, on how you invest in every Klein ISD student.
