Don't Be A Scam Victim

Constable Deputies regularly field calls about scam artists stating to be from the Social Security Administration, etc.

Please follow these tips, and if you ever have any doubt about who you are talking to, find the organization's main number and call them directly.

*Never give out any personal information by phone, email, or over the internet if you do not know the recipient.

*Never provide any form of payment to anyone wanting immediate payment, especially in the form of prepaid gift cards, green dot cards, etc.

*Never call the scammer using the phone number they provide or the one listed on caller id.

*Verify the identity of anyone claiming to be law enforcement, IRS, or other government official by contacting the agency directly.
* Reactions disabled on political threads.
