Suspect Arrested For Shoplifting And Possession Of Controlled Substance
On June 28, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the Lowe's Improvement Store located in the 20100 block of the North Freeway in reference to a shoplifter.
Upon deputies arriving, they were advised that a male suspect concealed merchandise valued at over $475.00 and passed all points of sale without purchasing the concealed merchandise.
Constable Deputies locate the male suspect, who was identified as Thomas Reed, who was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and Cocaine.
The merchandise was recovered and returned to the business.
Further investigation revealed that he had stole merchandise from another Lowe's prior to the arrival at this location.
"Thomas Reed was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
His bond and court information have not been set at this time."- Constable Mark Herman
