On January 11, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 26000 block of Hardy Toll Road.
The driver initially stopped, but then fled the scene in his vehicle, leading deputies on a brief pursuit.
Constable Deputies were able to stop the vehicle in the 300 block of Rayford Rd.
The driver then exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
A police perimeter was set and with the assistance of a Constable Canine, he was located hiding in a dumpster.
He was apprehended and identified as Bayron Henriquez, a convicted felon.
Further investigation revealed that he had prior convictions for Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle, Evading on Foot and was wanted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
"Bayron Henriquez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Evading Arrest in a Motor Vehicle.
His bond was set at $30,000.00 out of the 263rd District Court." - Constable Mark Herman
