Constables Arrest Suspect for Shoplifting From a Local Target
On March 28, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the Target located in the 6500 block of the N Grand Parkway in reference to a theft.
Upon arriving, the suspect was detained outside the store and identified as Freda Burke.
She was found to be in possession of a stolen coffee maker that valued at $199.99.
Further investigation revealed that she had two prior theft convictions.
"Freda Burke was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Theft with two or more convictions.
Her bond was set at $1,000.00 out of the 182nd District Court." -Constable Mark Herman
