Constables Arrest Suspect Who Initially Provided False Name and Date of Birth

On May 19, 2023 deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 19100 block of Cypresswood Drive in reference to a major vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, deputies were advised that one of the vehicles involved in the accident had left the scene, after both of the vehicle drivers exchanged information.
During the accident investigation, deputies attempted to identify the occupant of the vehicle on scene that was involved in the accident.
The male provided a fictitious name and date of birth.
After a thorough investigation, he was positively identified as Lorenzo Rodriguez, who was found to have two open Felony Warrants for Credit Card Abuse and Organized Crime out of the Harlingen Police Department.
"Lorenzo Rodriguez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants and charged with Failure to Identify- Fugitive.
His bond was set at $1,500.00 out of County Court 8." - Constable Mark Herman
