On May 21, 2023, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 12700 block of Porter Meadow Lane in reference to a group of juveniles taking packages from residences and breaking into vehicles.
 
Witness provided deputies with the location of the juveniles and video surveillance.
 
The juveniles were quickly located and apprehended, but not before one of the juveniles fled on foot.
 
The juvenile was taken into custody after a brief foot pursuit.
 
"The three juveniles were arrested and booked into the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center.
 
One juvenile was charged with Mail Theft and Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, another juvenile was charged with Mail Theft and a third juvenile was charged with Evading on Foot." - Constable Mark Herman
