Thomas Family Named May 2022 Distinguished Alumni
The Klein ISD Board of Trustees and Police Chief David Kimberly were honored to recognize the Thomas siblings as the Distinguished Klein ISD Alumni for May.
“I don’t use the word ‘hero’ very often, but every one of the Thomas brothers is just that — a hero,” Board Trustee Dustin Creager said.
“What they stand for and represent…they could have taken the easy road, but they care about the community. They care about service.
Five of the seven siblings, David, Lisa, Jeff, James, and Mike, are all proud graduates of Klein High School, and all seven have served in law enforcement.
Unfortunately, their beloved brother Mike Thomas recently passed away, but the district is honored to recognize him posthumously.
The Thomas family moved to the Klein ISD community, specifically Memorial Northwest, in 1977.
Dan and Doug had already graduated from high school, but the remaining four brothers and one sister were all enrolled in Klein ISD.
The siblings were all very close and rich in love as a big family.
